Header purchase help!

I want to get headers for my new 350 being installed next week, but I got a little dilemma. I want to spend $250 bucks or less, and I want them to be coated.

Should I just cough up the extra bucks and get some Hedmans for like $300 or should I get some Hedmans uncoated Hedmans and coat them with 1400 degree paint myself?

I was considering Hedmans because after looking around, they are the best bargain I can find. They're decent and all, at a good price.

Sure, Hedmans will be fine for that 350! I think that price comes with the y-pipe, too, which is expensive otherwise.

The coating is important for longevity. I don't know whether spray paint can compare to the high heat coatings for durability.

Headers are a great first step--you are going to love them

I believe the hedmans I want are a chrome finish too (coating). So, but I have to call and make sure the Y pipe comes with it, because the pic of it only shows the two headers themselves. Oh, and I'm getting this from Summit by the way. I trust those guys, and most prices are pretty good.
