Hey all

When I turn-off my car, I have smoke coming of my Exhaust for a few min. after I shut off the car. haha it makes it look like its still on sometimes!

Looks kinda cool I guess but why does it do this?

 

I am not 100% positive, but I am pretty sure this is no problem. My brother has an 85 Z28, and it happens all the time. I have also seen other camaros do it. I wouldnt be too concerned. I think how cold it is has something to do with it, also how much moisture is in the exhaust. I think after moisture builds up, and you run it the exhaust heats up. So that means that when the car if off, the exhaust is still hot so its burning off moisture until all the moisture is gone, or the exhaust cools down whichever comes first.
