Cat exhaust recylcling pipe question
I have a hole in that small pipe that runs from the cat back to the engine and I was wondering if I could cut that section out and put some type of hose in there. I'm just afraid rubber will not hold up. I'm going to wait to take all that crap off when I replace the engine, but I'll have to wait for that. I read somewhere that muffler shops put some sort of hose in there when they have to cut it, but I can't find where I read that or what material the hose is made of.

i would just have the little hole welded shut at a muffler shop shouldnt cost but a couple of bucks

Actually I went to Pep Boys and they have emissions hose that should work.... But JB Weld gets the first attempt!
