sound waves

I am going for a custom dual exhast for my car and I am prolly going to use 2 inch piping right off the block that will shift into 2 1/2 inch piping

just curious on something here as far as exhast tuning

at what points would it cause a reversion wave
I know if I was running a collector that it would cause a reversion wave that would be a low pressure zone if I remember right

this way I can try to get better scav of my exhaust

probley be a better idea to ask questions about the rotory engine on a board that builds them and not a 3rd gen board

the question is able to be used for ALL types of cars
be it a piston car or a rotary

the question is in regards to sound/pressure waves in the exhaust

something your car will also produce

what I am trying to do is figure out at what points and what will cause thes reversion waves

from there I will do the rest of the tuning myself

the only points I can think of include the exhaust tip, and collector, well if you are using an x-pipe sure that would cause one also

want to know if there are any other spots that would cause them
