What do I need to change in the AIR to have AIR to the headers but not the cats?
What do I need to change in the AIR to have AIR to the headers but not the cats?
I'm going to be using Car-Sound cats as part of my new exhaust. They come with an AIR inlet tube. However the tube comes capped off--AIR is optional. Is there any reason I should go to the trouble of putting in air lines to the cats (custom dual exhaust so I can't just reuse the stock lines)?
Also, since the air pump is either pumping air into the headers (SLP with AIR) or the cats, I can't just plug the cat part of the diverter, right? (I forget exactly how it is, but there must be some sort of diverter.) What I'm asking is this: If I want to keep AIR to the headers but not run it to the cats, what do I need to change in the AIR system?

the air system has a hose that y's into the headers, and one that goes to the cat/cat air tube, simply remove the tube and the hose, then stick a plug on the black air box
