Going To Do Some Exhaust mods..... HELP
Hey
I have a 1985 IROC Z Camaro with a 305 LB9 engine. I am planning on doing some exhaust mods on my car but I dont know what kinda stuff to get, Im planning on getting Headers and CatBack exhaust system, What are the best headers out there for the LB9 engine, and what is the best catback exhaust system for the LB9 engine. With these 2 mods how much will my HP increase allong with the Torque..... Thanks alot for your help
If u have sound clips post them, but only if u have a TPI
P.S - does exhasut sound the same coming out of a 350 TPI sound the same as a 305 TPI engine
Thanks again

I am running the Random Technology Catback, CarSound Cat and 1 5/8" SLP headers. I hope to get it dynoed in the next few weeks. I also installed an Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator(a must with headers). I am hoping for an additional 40 RWHP at least.

No.
350's sound better of course.

Edelbrock headers are easy on the wallet, SLP's are better. MAC cat-backs sound awesome and nobody has them. Flowmaster, Hooker, and Borla($$$) sound good too. Don't get Edelbrock or Dynomax unless you're giving your car to your grandmother. They'd be quiet enough for her.
