how much would it be to have a muffler shop put my cat-back on. i would do it myself but it is the dyno-max and i don't have a lift.

 

I was quoted at $100, there had to be some minor fabrication with my cat-back, and also I needed a new hanger, they ended up jacking the price to $160 when it was done. I got ripped, but the installation was perfect and done in about an hour.

 

that is kind of a rip. the cat-back i have has all the hangers and it is only a one peice I pipe so there wouldn't have to be any welding. do you still think it would be about the same. thanks for the help.

 

I doubt it, I've heard as low as $60 I believe by someone on this site. Just go to a couple different places and get a quote.

 

My hooker Cat Back was real easy install. The hardest part was removing the stock one. I just used aJack and Four jack stand took me about 2hrs....

 

oh ya I forgot to mention that I did it my self....
