exhaust sound?
exhaust sound?
This is probably a real girl question.
I want to change the sound of my exhaust. I have a 92 firebird and I want the exhaust to sound more like the newer ones. Do I just need to change the muffler or the whole exhaust system?

Specs please? Engine? Mods? You want it to sound like the 4th gens stock or what? Someone said that SLP catback sounds like the 4th gens stock, but with "the bass and trebble turned up". Trust me, Mark will be hear shortly with a clip of hooker for ya.

I'm sure IROCTWENTYGR8 will be here too, to say something about the Flowmaster cat-back.
But like said that will depend on your setup, V6 or V8.

Yup, here I am.
Why any1 would want to sound like a 4th Gen is beyond me, but you gotta tell us what you have. And of course, there are Flowmaster sound files on the main page.
