Genuine GM Hood with Trim Pieces, New. Part number 14047994. Used on 1982-1984 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. Discontinued and unavailable for almost 20 years. Very hard to find original, new fiberglass hoods like this

Purchased brand new from GM about 25 years ago, along with the (2) metal trim pieces, over 25 years ago and kept in its original box planning to install on a Camaro Z28 IROC which came with a metal hood from the factory. About 2 years ago had the Z28 professionally repainted along with this new, NOS. All painted by Berger Chevrolet in MI, a well known and respected dealership. The hood was sanded, primed and painted to factory spec black. Since then decided not to replace the original metal hood with this fiberglass one and keep the car original/stock. Therefore, I am offering this hood here. This could be used as is with its professional, GM correct, black paint or it could be sanded and repainted any color you desire.

It the buyer desires to have the hood shipped to them, the buyer pays the shipping cost + $20 packaging/insurance/etc.. I will package (maybe palletize) with appropriate packaging for safe shipping. I believe this can only ship via a trucking/freight carrier. I would ship this insured for a successfully transaction and arrival. The buyer is also welcome to pick up the hood, arrange shipping on their own, or I could even deliver the hood (as long as I was compensated for my gas and time).
