I purchased a numbers matching 82 Trans Am with the Crossfire option, and the car is complete with exception of the original wheels (seems to be all too common). The previous owner replaced them with late 70's ralleye wheels, and he doesn't know what happened to the originals. The door label indicates it had the 15 inch wheels and the car's info says that those were the turbo cast N89 wheels.

I'd like to return this car to original in time for the upcoming car show season. I'm in need of 4 decent wheels and caps and heard 3rd Gen was the place to go. I've been hawk-eyeing eBay but have come up empty. I'm looking to buy now so that I can have the wheels cleaned and clear powder-coated for this summer.

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. This is the first F-body I've ever owned (the rest were all rams head products). I am enjoying this car immensely and plan to buy others in the future. I'm near Pittsburgh, PA (zip code 15010).

I'm still in the market for 15 inch wheels and caps as of now.

I'm still looking for a fair and reasonable offer. I know what these wheels have gone for in the past, but I also know that prices have relaxed somewhat on them. I'd like to spend less on the wheels than what I practically paid for the car. I'm not looking to make low ball offers, but please be fair - these are only car wheels for pete's sake.

I've still got money to spend - who wants it? Remember, as I mentioned, I need both wheels and caps. My goal - to bring my T/A back to a state of respectable originality in time for car show season.
