Dual snorkle intake for a LO3?

Q: Can I install the L69 dual snorkle intake on my LG4 engine?

A: Yes. If you can't find one in a junk yard, the part numbers are as follows:

Part No. Description
-------------------------
25043641 Air cleaner
14070917 Left scoop
14070918 Right scoop
14073299 Left hose
14083990 Right hose
11513801 Screws
Thats from the FAQ on this site. first off, do you just go to the dealer and ask for those parts? Secondly Will that fit onto my LO3 TBI 305?

Most likely, they are discontinued. Look around the scrap yards, Ebay, on these classifieds ads, etc...

okay, I tried the dual snorkel air cleaner on my LO-3, with the emmisions parts and A/C stuff on there just noway it will fit.

do you guys remove the stuff in the way or just modify something, guess maybe I will just use the stock air clearner and cowl induction setup from my 84, that should flow as well as a dual snorkel.

you'll have to make a change to the egr valve. if you can find it, there was a project called "f-notes", a 1989 camaro rs that they did in hot rod way back in 1989 .... it shows how to do it in detail. someone on here used to have the pdf files linked in his sig.
