CAI for TBI

I fabbed this up using flexable dryer ducting and a TPI airbox and snorkal.






Can really feel it, especially up top. It uses the round filters, not TPI filters.

I think(yeah, it happens) it looks great.
Stock TPI airbox?? Never seen one before.
Can u get a pic of the openings?

I've got a 91' RS that I'm going to try that on. Did you just cut off the old intake flush on the filter box, then route the ducting to that?

nice job! now make it flow more....

brake the tak welds on the ring thats in the houseing
i thot at frist it was part of the houseing.... so grinded it down not reliesing it was tack welded in place.... you are only sucking less then half or 1" when the lid is on all away around with that 3" airfillter!


heres what im talking about... see where i was grinding? that just brakes off...
