Headlight Conversion

I would like to eliminate the stock twin beam headlights and replace them with a single hi/low bulb setup. What would be a good way or bulb to use? I want to use the area not used by the second headlight for a ram-air setup. I know there are kits but they use H4 bulbs that have seperate hi and low beams. Do 9003 bulbs work? Would it be possible to adapt the bulbs?

Thanks, and what side should i put the headlights the insides or outsides?

Thats not even my car. I just want to know about about headlights. I've searched and i don't know what would be a good, cheap, light setup. I could wire it up easily enough i just don't know what "headlight bulb holder" i should use? Or what bulb?

So if i got one of those 4x6" reflectors and a H4 bulb and wired it up i would have high andn low beams from the same headlight?

and use the inside lights, using the outer lights makes the car look fruity.

Why not use a set of mid 80's monte carlo lights? I have seen these on a 3rd gen convert and they look cool. I've been thinking of doing that to mine. I dont have a pic but they look like mid 90's chevy pick-up trucks.
