Somewhat OT: Anybody got a Miller Maxstar 140?

Ok so this is semi-relevant to the forum...

I got a used miller Maxstar 140 stick/tig welder that toasted a small section of discreet components underneath one of the driving transistors. It looks like it needs about 3-4 teeny SMD diodes and resistors, unfortunately I cannot make out the values of said components because of they are dark brown/black from frying.

I talked to a couple of local welding shops, one is trying to find me diagrams but said I shouldn't hold my breath, the other told me that miller mostly just had people send back these machines (when they were under warranty) to miller HQ and they send them back a refurb unit when they broke.

So, I'm looking for anyone who has a miller 140 welder that wouldn't be afraid of taking the cover off and snapping a couple of pictures for me, even better would be someone with another broken maxstar 140 that they would be interested in selling, as the warranty has no doubt expired. I'm trying to repair this welder as the only component to repair miller sells is the complete "main" board which is $350+, I figure if I can repair it by replacing a group of small smd components I'll wind up way ahead on this deal...if not I guess I can get the repair board from miller but its gonna cost me...

I have the maxstar dx 200.

Why dont you ask miller to send you the owners manual and assembly and parts design guide that you should have gotten when you purchased it knew, post a pic of where your resistors are burnt.

You can download the owners manual from millers site, and its of no use. Most shops I've talked to say that they didn't even repair the components, they'd either replace the complete board or send it back to miller HQ for repair, unfortunately. I'll post up pics later tonight...
