the other headlight and signals will be put back in, and i wanna wrap the whole thing with some sort of header/turbo wrap.
its just 4 inch a/c duct and an old air cleaner, and some sheet aluminum.

can ya handle alittle construtive C?if you going to cut the hood for clearance why not just put one of those air horn looking jobies that mount to the carb.with that type of set up you have totaly unrestricted air flow.not that the 3" dyer ducting would be a restriction but there is less weight, less parts you have to spend time with trying seal up,and less to fool with when your ina hurry to change plug or putting a belt back on ect. ect. ect.

a verry nice job, but if it is strip only why not cut a bigger hole in the hood and atach a big scoop that goes to the airfilter? would force more air volume and you could still have headlights.

Now the firebird logo looks like its getting beaten with an iron gauntlet
I plan on making a rig thatll require moving the battery to the trunk. I'll have dual snorkels, one going into the battery tray and the other in the smog tray, and both being routed to the "fog light" holes on an 85-90 TA bumper. Good job nonetheless!
