MSD frame mount fuel pump???

Hi, not sure if this post is in the correct spot. Has anyone installed the MSD frame mount fuel pump? I am thinking of doing it as its so much easier to change rather than having to drop the tank every time the pump dies. Just wondering if you have to remove the pump in the tank and connect some fuel line and themn connect it inline on the frame? Any help or any pics would be great. Thanks all.

Avoid the MSD inline pumps like the plague. They're cheap because they're cheaply made. The one i had was noisey as hell and would loose pressure after a few hours of continuous running. The only inline pumps i have expirience with other than the msd is a Holley inline pump manufactured by Walbro. Its dead silent and has no problem feeding 8, 30 lb. injectors at 52 psi. If your looking for max flow it would be a good idea to remove the old intank pump.
