Hey,
I have a buddy who fiberglassed all new interior panels on his '93 camaro and it looks like wet black glass, really cool. Anyone tried or seen fiberglassed and painted interior parts for our cars? I think it might be a cool fab job if someone could do it.

sorry, i tend to look at all magazines and all over the net. never saw anything like what your talking about. it would be cool though to have something new to look at inside our cars. in terms of dash and all.

carbon fiber
i just started some carbon fiber work on my camaro, her eis the first piece im working on, not close to done but you will get the idea.im no tto sure how far i will go with the carbon fiber, but i know at least will look good. simple but nice.
since this pic was taking, i have drilled out the holes for the bolt in, cleaned up the edges and made it all clean and square, and cut out two large holes for the tach and speed gauge, the rest of the gauges will line under the dash

thanks, after posting that up i got a bug up my *** and started to measure and think out plans to do up the dash. it will take awhile to do, carbon fiber fabraction work is not an over the night job, so when it is done i will surly post up some pics for you all to see.

they have dashes, doors, entire body parts in fiberglass... have fun

Is fiberglass/carbon fibre fabbing hard and expensive? I've never done it, and a buddy of mine said carbon fibre would look good for my interior. I'd like to know how well it went with people that worked with it.

They are stock interior pieces sanded with 80, 180, 220, 400, high build primer, then 220, 320, 400, 600, and finally base and clear coated.
