Instument panel in a 1992 camaro
Instument panel in a 1992 camaro
I found an instument panel that I like that Year One offers but it states that they are only for 1982's through 1989 I know they change the way they looked in the car after 89 but I was wondering if you could make it fit and if so how hard would it be. http://yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?cat=G Here is the web page if that may be of any assistance Thanks for all input

You have to make your own. Either make a panel and fit it into the stock housing (removing the clear lens and fitting stuff in there), OR you can do what I did and I ditched the entire guage area on my 91 and made my own set-up from scratch. Check out my CD site for pics and a walkthrough.

Nice cluster Bottled.....looks a lot like mine. You might remember it.
The panel and bezel are for sale, incidentally. I'm keeping the gauges themselves to use in the IROC. Anyone interested please PM me.

mine cost me under $30
. Its the cost of the gauges that will shock you. I think I paid about $500 for the gauges.
I did the work myself on my cluster. I used all the stock plastic except for the clear plastic cover. The hardest part was getting the gauges to work with the factory wires. Its just a little time consuming but it work perfect and I love it. I was going to make a new face panel out of ABS plastic so it matched the interior better but now that I see those other pics, I think I am goingto keep my carbon fiber look. To me it looks to plain with the ABS plastic. Not that yours looks bad at all.
