Rims.......................

I was wondering...... i want chrome rims on my car but i don't want to buy them, i was looking at spray on chrome..... i could do it myself but i was jw if you guys have any expiereince with it or whats the best brand.... Thanks

PS.. It would be on these rims...


I think they would look good chrome....

There is no such thing as "spray on" chrome. Chrome is applied by electroplating, hence the name chrome plating.

u probbly saw some sort of shiny silver paint, i guess if u prepted it well and did it right it would'nt look to shabby

There is spray on rattle can "chrome colored" paint, it actually looks ok but I wouldn't use it on rims

yeah, they do finally make chrome paint that looks fabulous, but again, as in the previous post, i wouldn't use it on wheels. the stuff i have seen is for lexan r/c car bodies, and a tiny 4oz can is $20

why don't you sand them down and polish them? it would look better than the paint and you can even get some self gratification from doing it. with alittle bit of time and elbow grease i'm sure those wheels will set off the look of the car. post pics of whatever you choose to do though

as said above alsacorp. Ive use it and the stuff is great! RIMS, complete cars,etc....

The Products posted from alsa corp are gonna be your best solution to the question on how to do it.
