Re: Whose car is this?
Why? I think it is kinda cool. I mean, fabricating that front end must have taken a bunch of work. I think it is inspired alot by the 1st and 2nd gen camaros. I really like the wheel-well extension things. Looks real 2nd gen!
The only thing I really dont like is the mustang-ish front end look. But really, this car was probably built when the new mustang was the only source of those retro-style headlights. If the new camaro was out yet, that would have helped.

its not really a mustang front end. Look at pics of the mustang. he just udes the headlights and fabbed up the rest around their shape.

Re: Whose car is this?
I Like it. I wish the front end was more like an old camaro than a mustang, but it looks alright. I'm not big on ultra-custom cars, but this is one of the better ones I've seen.

Re: Whose car is this?
Man...such close mindedness... The only part that is mustang is the headlights... And I think it looks more like a modernized monte carlo in the front than a mustang... Its ALOT better than other camaros out there that get cannibalized and what not. And it isnt rusting away or in the crusher. So I give it a thumb up.
Its got some 2nd gen in it, some custom-gen, some thirdgen... I dig it! He could have done some more filling/finishing on that tail panel. It would also look better with a cowl that starts further forward. That looks like one of those rivet on scoops... But otherwise I dig it.
Definetly different. Im curious about the power plant.

Re: Whose car is this?
It would look so much better with a different front end, the bumper is uglier then the headlights. As far as drivetrain I believe its a kaiser roto-charged 350 that makes 1,500 plus hp.

Re: Whose car is this?
If that didn't have the mustang looking front end, it would look really cool. A 70-73 split bumper style would have looked much better.
Really looks like a tricked out Camaro from the 70's if you're not paying attention to it.

Re: Whose car is this?
looks kinda like a '75 and up nova with mustang lights, it wouldn't surprise me if those were malibu fenders. all in all you do have to give it up for the creativity and effort a task like that demanded.from looking at the pictures it APPEARS to be good work.
whats scary is that it could very well have a procharged 406 under the hood... or a 3.1.

Re: Whose car is this?
From the Fquick.com blog,
Your eyes are not deceiving you. That is a Mustang front on a 1992 Camaro body. Sacreligious? Blasphemy? Painful to look at? Yes on all accounts. In full, this mis-match of parts include: Trans Am type fender flares, custom spoiler, corvette rear lights, mustang front end, chevy nova front bumper, custom hand made rear bumper, custom hood scoop and leather 4 point harness seats. The effort was there, but was it worth it?

Re: Whose car is this?
Wrong. . . Wrong, wrong. . . WRONG!!!
Did they take decent running Camaro and sodomize it? Or did they yank it out of a junkyard??? If the latter is the case, I can reluctantly accept that. . . better to be on the road than be in the crusher. . .
But now the car has to endure the rest of it life being called a Mustaro. . .

jesus...only cool thing about this "car" (you would not want to call it a camaro, right?) is the front seats...
how can someone destroy such a clean looking car with that ugly fabrication...

Re: Whose car is this?
I think you are all a little to harsh on the car. I bet none of you who criticize the car could ever do what he did, something different is always cool beats driving something that a 100,000 other people have! ... He did a nice job on the car in my opinion and bet in a few years this guy will be working in a custom shop making more then the better majority of you. So I wouldn't be laughing at his work. Who knows what the car even looked like before doesn't look like any specialty type camaro so whats the big deal.

I like it other than the fact that he made the front end look like and ugly *** new mustang.

The louvres are pretty trashy too, they do look better on that car than they do on a regular third gen though..

I’m kind of with you on that, I mean you can question the aesthetic choices, like I actually think the worst part is that it’s missing details that would tie it together, for example, it needs some detail to the filler panel between the taillights, but the fact is that it looks like whoever did it did a pretty decent job of turning it into what they wanted…

Wow. So with just the mustang front end, does the owner still have to have the normal "Im a mustang owning douchebag, and Im better than you" attitude? J/K.
As far as craftsmanship---A+ at least from what I can see.
As far as it being a good idea---D-.
When you crossbreed cars, you lose on both sides.
