rims on an 85 trans am
I need input on what everyone thinks looks better. I am getting American racing Torq thrust rims soon but I can't figure out if I want the 17 inch ones or the 16s. The complete tire height is 26inches but i have no idea which size rim looks best....anyone know anything or have ne pics? Thanks...by the way, the car is a red 1985 pontiac trans am with two tone paint (silver on bottom)

try the appearance board, this doesn't seem to have anything to do with fabrication...

i also say 17"s, Ive been in tires for about 5 years and can say ive seen more 17's than 16's. 15's are getting as hard to find as 13's. If you want to go crazy go with some 245/40/18's. oh yea

Do you like the old school or modern look? I personally like the old school race car look which would call for 15’s, but anything smaller than a 17 is hard to find in a good performance tire now, so I gave in with the last set of wheels I got and went with 17’s/18’s on my TA.
