t-top keys
wasn't sure what section to put this in....
I have searched all over but can't find and real info. I need to know if they make any after market key replacements for t-tops. is the drivers door key supposed to fit? mine doesn't and i want to make sure i can lock my t-tops...
can a locksmith do this or is it a easy 10 min job that i could do if i had the parts?
any info appreciated

Re: t-top keys
I had a 91 and the door key did it. If yours doesn't match it, I bet you can take the tops to a lock smith and they can make one - they did it for the ignition on one of my old cars.

Re: t-top keys
When I swapped my glass tops for some Lexan ones, I changed the locks so my key would still work.

Door key is supposed to work, but I've found some of the locks are keyed for ignitions. You can buy a new lock set from Hawks, or ModernDayMuscle, etc. etc. and it might be cheaper, as when I got quoted locksmiths to just rekey the cylinders, they wanted $15/lock even if I brought them completely disassembled locks.
