Ok, before I get slammed with the bad remarks for wanting to do this... My factory nose looks like crap up close... I had a friend that done all kinds of fiberglass work on his j-body (cavalier) cut out my nose piece and fab up a place to mount foglights on my trans am... the reason was my car had been molested before I purchased it... now I'm wanting to do a few mods to the body of my baby... so with that being said... I have been looking for body kits and looking at other options which I have considered the sharp nose look.. theres a donor car at a local junk yard that would work out for me if I went with a o.e.m. style nose... I think its a 91 or 92 formula... but I would much rather go with a nose that I could retain my headlight assemblies and look more custom than just a 83 with a newer style nose... That takes me to the Knight Rider style nose... I've looked at a few differant web sites that offer the nose in various forms and I am not oppose to the rough not finished ones offered, but has anyone here installed one of these and if so... where did you get it and how much did it cost ya..? if you don't mind me asking...also I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find the older style body kits that were offered in the 80's... I always heard them called widebody kits... as for the Knight Rider nose... I am planning on filling in the hole for the scanner bar in... don't really want a kitt car... lol...
