Automatic Belt Tensioner Redesign
For the last two years, I have ran without an ac compressor/delete pulley and smog pump pulley, by using a grooved tensioner pulley. Well, I am changing the air intake and need to mount the tensioner lower. So I have decided to put a new bracket with tensioner in. I am trying to modify something that was factory but not as bulky as the factory one.
Right now, I am shooting for something that uses two of the front bolts in the head and retains the stock alternator, power steering, crank, and water pump setup. I have measured the depth to the inside of the pulley to 6 inches, but can someone give me a more precise dimension.
