Aluminum fuel line?

Trying to plumb a Ramjet into my 68 and was wondering if 3/8 aluminum line was acceptable for efi hard line. I have 3/8 steel but my an flaring tool wont touch it. Thanks

Re: Aluminum fuel line?

I used 1/2" aluminum line on my past setup that had 90psi at max, not a problem here.

Re: Aluminum fuel line?

You will just have to watch out if you are connecting steel and aluminum together as you will suffer corrosion since they are dissimilar metals.

If it's a street car, steel won't get damaged as easy by loose stones or whatever you may encounter when driving.
