frame rail connectors.

I've been looking for frame rail connectors for additional support. So far I've only found Summit having 1 basic set for over 300$ and Year One not having any specific to my year(89). I wouldn't be heart broken to end up concocting my own. Any experience/tips/ideas or advice where to find what I'm looking for?

Re: frame rail connectors.

I assume you're talking about sub frame connectors? The bars that get bolted/weld'd onto the underside of the car by the rocker panels. I'd recommend Spohn if you aren't capable of making them yourself. www.spohn.net

They also have wonderbars (ties front sub frame together between the sway bar mounts). I felt a great handling improvement with a wonderbar even with WS6 sway bars and sub frame connectors. The cars steering just felt tighter.
