I think it's fair to say that a majority of us are scratching our heads and asking ourselves...wtf! How could something so promising turn out to look like shitt? While the engineering and technical work are amazing, the design is horrendous. It seems as if the designers ran out of ideas and just started going nuts with the outrageous body work.
Re: The baddest thirdgen iv ever seen in my life, amazing fab work!!
Troy's was at the National Roadster Show in Pomona last month and I flat out asked them: 'Is that 3rd gen a 'demonstrator' to show your work skills or is it an actual project that will be completed?' The guy I spoke to- I assume he was the head honcho- seemed pissed at my question and said it was an actual project with an actual owner who was in no hurry to finish it AND that they had at least two projects ahead of it for completion. So it looks like it will be a while...or he could have just been blowing smoke. But that is the 'latest' on this rather overdone project...

Good update!!
Hopefully he wasn't just blowing smoke like you say. I would like to see it done.
Guys like that can really get an attitude sometimes. I remember how Bob Johnson got when I told him the G force 'CUDA wasn't a big deal......

( Sunday March 10th ) Rad rides was at the Detroit Auto Rama, with a sweet looking buick...I asked the guys with the Buick about the camaro....and the owner of the camaro was standing next to me ( lol ) ...if I remember right I think his name is joe ( nice guy ) he was at the show and told me he just gave the guys a cd with up to date pics that should be on rad rides website soon....I like this camaro and would like to see it when its done...I asked about the metal front. ..more than 250 hours went in to making that ..

That is the STRANGEST looking THING i've ever seen !! It's what ?? A car !!!!
I would never want that thing sitting next to my Iroc !!! Frigging stupid looking !!!!! Front end looks like a forklift !! back end is ridiculous !! I usually don't bash anyone's car or projects but,,,, come on !!! That's one of the worst creations I've ever seen......

This is some amazing metal work, and I highly appreciate the effort and skill, but they missed the mark with design and styling. The Nelson car is way ahead of this car design wise, and I usually like all of the cars coming out of Troy's shop. The car from the side looks great, but the front, hood, and rear end is vomit. Just my .02

A+ for fab skills. F for design!! Its just too busy looking for me. Nothing beats a clean 3rd gen. Troy has a great team of guys and has always put out great looks rides but I just dont know what they were thinking here. All I can think of is they designed it exactly like the customer wanted and the customer gave Rad Rides a signed blank check.

It still looks dated circa 1980"s. Maybe it could be used for a new Back to the Future movie...Just add a updated Mr.Fusion and Flux Capacitor. Nice work!!!

I like the rear spoiler, but that's about it. It's impressive no doubt, but reminds me of the batmobile for some reason...

Only thing I like on this car are the way the door handles were done. Borderline liking the rims.

Nice work and took a lot of time & skill . . . With that said, I wouldn't be seen dead driving a "riced-out" car like that, even if they GAVE it to me !!!

The front end looks like a Spartan Helmet from the movie 300. Otherwise, I can appreciate the work that's gone into it. To each his own!
