Not too sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not (sorry if I didn't!), but I'm looking to see if anyone knows if the shift cover for an auto shifter is something I can find to replace mine that's all been cracked away over the years. I'm working on restoring the interior and would like to cover the hole...
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's a tip: EVERY PART in your car can be replaced. Even the VIN, in some special cases. Start looking around at wreckers or classifieds for thirdgens being parted out. If you actually want to fabricate a new shifter plate, it could be as simple as cutting out a piece of sheet metal to the shape of the console and drilling the correct holes.
