What do you guys do with all of your parts that are not sellable?

I was sitting here this morning just sold my old motor and trans I was going to give the guy the rear and he didint want it. Bad gears pegleg drums says enough. I also have this issue with my seats being in rough shape so this is what I came up with. Just a way to reuse old parts. Not finished just roughed in.

2" pipe through the spring perches to the ground sitting on a 1/4" piece of iron 2.5 foot long welded to the shock mounts pipe and sticking out rear for support

Give the seats away and scrap the rear. Thats what I did when I was in the same situation.

I replaced the crappy round pad on my roll around seat with an extra rear seat bottom.

When I dumped the LG4 I had to beg a junk yard to take it off my hands, for free. Most of the other stuff goes into the trash.

Don't forget, you can sell scrap steel to your local metal recycler. It may not be worth much, but better than sending it to a landfill. I let scrap metal pile up in a corner of my garage until I have enough to warrant a trip. It's usually worth $20-40, which I usually end up spending on new steel or aluminum "drops" before leaving.

Goes in our scrap pile until we have enough for a good trailer load. Then if the price is right, haul it off.

A better use for that might be to feed it to the scrap yard. Seems like a KILLER waste of space.
