Durable hoodliner material for fiberglass pin-on hood?
I have a VFN fiberglass pin-on hood that's got a bump of around 2". That's taller than stock so presumably replacement ones for the stock hood will not fit, though perhaps they might be modified to fit.
So I'm looking for DURABLE materials to make a hoodliner -- durable because, particularly, the hood is pin-on and the liner is more likely to be damaged when moving a pin-on hood around than with a hinged hood.
I understand that Dynamat has some material for this but don't know anything about its durability. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
