Wiper motor fabrication
I am looking to retrofit a 92 or similar style wiper motor into my 82. Now before I receive all the feedback telling me it cannot be down the firewalls are different, I understand this, but I have also seen brackets made to make it work. It may have looked a little goofy due to the large hole in between the motor and firewall, but I could build a spacer for that. I just need to know how to make it work. My experience with the 82 wiper motor has been 7 defected motors 2 switches, and numerous wires and I'm tired of messing with it and just want to go newer style. Will the newer style switch still work with the guts of 82 column? And what kind of brackets will allow the motor to work properly.. I know I've seen someone on this forum with the newer style on an 82/83. Thanks in advance.

So the switch from newer style will work with all internals of my 82 column? I think all older Chevy columns are basically the same but just double checking
