Custom carbon fiber rear hatch
Thinking of making a mold out of my hatch and making an ultra light carbon fiber replacement. Then just wrap the "glass part" with a high gloss vinyl wrap to make it look like glass. Anyone every attempt this before???

I've never tried working with carbon fibre or fibreglass, but you should at least use a lexan rear window. Otherwise you might as well go for the fastback look.

I've never been a fan of the fastback look and it won't fit, bars are in the way. It's a tube chassis car. Using lean won't matter because I cant use my rear view mirror and I wanted a tinted look.

Camaro or firebird?
I've been pondering rear top shape on my hardtop vert project.
Anyway what I thought very briefly if I had a camaro was louvres.
What about doing the straight mold and throwing fake louvres (very small ridges) on or even real ones? Could look good if done right. Especially on a Camaro.
