Floor pan help!!!

I'm about to embark on the mission of replacing the floor pans in my 91 firebird, but before I do have a question that I hope u guys can help with
Do I need to brace the body before I start cutting???

If you are cutting out the rocker with it, then yes. Otherwise, no.
