Front Spoiler Difference

I understand that there is a difference between the 91-92 front spoiler design, and the 85-90 design. But, what makes it so that the Hawks Front Splitter works on 85-90, but not 91-92? It looks like a nice design, but neither Hawks, nor anyone else I have found, makes anything similar for the 91-92.

Thanks!!

Re: Front Spoiler Difference

So let me ask it this way... What would I need to change/modify to use the 85-90 splitter on my 91?

Thanks!!

Re: Front Spoiler Difference

I believe the mounting holes for the factory front spoiler were changed on the Camaro about the same time the front air dam was changed on the Firebird (1991). The aftermarket piece evidently uses the older hole pattern. Someone at Hawks may be able to point out the differences.
