Not sure where to put this, but figure the fab section is as good as any. We're planning to add some ventilation to the hood of our C Prepared Firebird. I'm actually thinking of taking the side hood vents from a GTA and installing them on our hood. I would like to, however, put them in the best, or near-best location on the hood. If we're going to go through the effort, might as well make it work right? I think the factory location for those vents are way too far back on the hood, and am thinking of something a bit closer to the front strut tops.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has ever done any CFD work or even tuft work on a 3rd Gen and if that information is available anywhere? Online searches haven't been too successful. If not, we'll probably grab a bag of yarn, tape and a couple of cameras and hit the road. Just figured I'd ask before burning up all that yarn and tape. Thanks.

You should email Gale Banks and see what he could share. He got way into 3rd gens at ONE POINT.
