I would be if I had ever solved the problem. I've tried just about every fix known to man and I still got 'em. Might try new pads next.

I had the AutoZone Performance Frictions pads on my RS. I took them back just recently and exchanged them for a new set (they have a lifetime warranty) even though they weren't worn down to the wear indicator. After I installed the new set, the popping noise that was plaquing me totally went away and have not come back. The popping noise I was hearing happened only when moving forward and hitting the brakes. I totally rebuilt my front end trying to solve this problem (it needed rebuilding anyways), it figures it would be something simple.
