Compression Ratios

Compression Ratios

The 90-92 L98 cars have a compression ratio of 9.6:1, not 9.3:1 like is shown.

My 1992 GM Service Manual says the compression ratio for the L98 is 9.75 to 1

From: Land of shredded 10-bolts...
I believe, but don't quote me on this, that in '85 the LG4 got a compression increase to go with the addition of the knock detection stuff.
