87 Trans Am 305 w/ 700r4 Auto in Dallas Fort Worth $1200
Ok ladies and gentleman up for grabs is a 1987 Trans Am. It has a 305ci engine and a 700r4 auto tranny. The odometer reads 214k. I don't know if the engine has ever been overhauled but it ran fine before I took it apart. I bought a brand new radiator as well as the usual maintenance items (plugs, wires, filters). The tags are current on the car. The car passed inspection with flying colors and never burned a drop of oil during the time I drove it.
I parked it a couple months ago to remove the engine and replace all the gaskets. I figured it would be a good idea with all the miles on the clock. Once I got everything back together the engine will turn over and even start but I cannot get the car to maintain idle. I went and bought a haynes book to try and fix the problem. However I am no mechanic and have lost patience with the car so...My loss your gain.
The interior isn't bad but keep in mind this isn't a new car. According to the previous owner all of the ac components were replaced shortly before I bought the car. All the system needs is a recharge (already setup for r134). I have the title and it is clear and easily transferred to a new owner.
Finally the exterior isn't bad but there are a few things to point out. The front nose, fenders and hood was taken off of a 82 Trans Am. The previous owner tried to park the car under a pickup. I have a hood and front nose piece for the 87 year model which is included in the sale price of the car. The rims are american racing not the factory set. The tires have almost full tread on the rear but the front ones are pretty worn. This is not a t top car.
I've attached some basic pictures and will gladly take more pictures at request. Just PM me here with your email and what you would like to see and I will send it your way as soon as I can.

Wanted to add that this is a TPI setup. Once the weather clears up I'll be adding some more pictures to this listing! Thanks!
