'89 GTA in Oregon
Update: I have been tinkering on it this weekend. I found 2 injectors out of spec, 6.7 and 5.5 ohms. I replaced them with a couple decent ones from a fox body I had to see if it made a difference, and it runs better now, but I would think it would be better to replace all injectors with a new set. Lowered price to $2,400. Also, I lightly buffed the hood and roof behind the tops, and now there isn't faded spots and quite a bit shinier.
Lowered asking price: $2,500 obo
Hello, I ,have a 1989 GTA with 67,000 miles that I am selling, I'm not sure what it is really worth, but I don't want to give it away either. The GTA has T-Tops, 5.7 liter engine, WS6 package, and automatic transmission. The car has Eibach springs with about 10,000 miles on them. The 5.7 liter engine is a rebuilt and has about 12,000 miles on it. I can also include the original L98 5.7 liter block and heads at no additional cost, if the buyer wants them. The console has been replaced by one out of a 1995 Camaro. The GTA is equiped with PW, PDL, PM, CC(inop at this time), and AC(also inop, but is all there). The tires still have plenty of tread. The title is clean.
Some issues with the car:
-(update buffed out faded spots, only went over it once, so it wasn't too bad)The paint is fading on the hood and roof, although I think some of it could be buffed out.
-The paint on the nose has a couple of big flakes out of it. The rear wing is not any good; it's split and warped.
-update: I lightly cleaned the interior, and it came out pretty nice.
-There is a crack in the dash.
-One fog light is missing.
-The engine runs good, but could use a new set of injectors.
-This car was my daily driver until 2 years ago when I bought a 1997 Trans Am WS6, I haven't driven it since then, so it is not registered at this time.
I know this sounds like a lot of stuff, but I just want to be as honest as possible about its' condition.
I also have more pictures if anybody is interested in the car.
Thank you.

Re: '89 GTA in Oregon
Not really looking to trade, I have too many cars as is. About the only thing I would be interested in is possibly a sport bike, and for the right one I would put some cash in the deal.
Also, I have a set of chrome 10 spoke SS wheels and adapters that I might let go with the car.

Re: '89 GTA in Oregon
A previous owner had it repainted, and I don't know if it was owner preference or the shop that did the paint didn't know where they were supposed to go. I bought the car from a local lot back in 2001, so I never had a chance to talk with any previous owners.

Re: '89 GTA in Oregon
Car is still for sale, I thought I would give it another chance on here. I am attaching a couple pics of the flakes and spider web cracks in the front bumper cover paint, since I recieved a couple of emails wanting to see those defects. I believe that area, aside from the wing, is the worst part of the paint. I also attached another pic to show that the paint looks pretty decent after I did some better 'polishing'.
