Car: 1990 pontiac firebird
Engine: 3.1L 6 cylinder
1990 3.1 V6 - $2000 OBO
I've had this vehicle for the last ten years but am finally looking to part ways with it. I had intended for it to become a project car in the years ahead but really can't dedicate the time to it I would like. It deserves a good home and I would like very much for it to go to someone who would enjoy it.
The body received a large deal of work 6 years ago and had several pieces replaced. New hood, nose bumper, drivers side fender, left quarter panel and drivers side door. The whole body was primed and painted fresh. Plus a new windshield. Since then a few rust spots have started under the paint in a couple areas that weren't replaced. Nothing too large, just the paint has bubbled. I don't believe there's any major rot happening. The engine is a 3.1 liter v6 with ~160,000. It runs fine but has been largely garaged the last year and a half so it could do with being run more frequently and could use a tune-up. One current issue is the last time I drove it the rear break lines sprung a leak. They had been rusty and a hole punched through. The car stops fine but the pedal has a bit more sponge in it than it did before. Needs repair. Vehicle inspection from the previous year just expired so the brakes will need repaired beforehand.
I'm asking 2000 but will entertain offers.
Thanks.
