Wanted: One 1992 Trans Am GTA in great shape.
Wanted: One 1992 Trans Am GTA in great shape.
I am in the middle of Indiana and have been looking for some time for a 1992 GTA (the rarest-to my dismay) in great to pristine condition. The car must have the 350 TPI L98 engine, and I would prefer it had leather, but it is not a requirment. I would like the car to be as stock as possible (including the radio, engine, exhaust, rims, etc.), and to have less than 100,000 miles if possible. Color does not matter. I would also like it to be close, but depending on the car and the deal I may be willing to go out of my way... As for price, I'm not outright saying what I'm willing to pay, but I'll leave that to the seller to decide (as long as it's reasonable), but I'm definitly not looking for a fixer-upper. I have a garage ready for the car, and can get a trailer to transport it (if it's worth trailering). I already have a car lined up close by, but before I buy it, I decided I might at least ask the enthusiasts here to see what my options are as far as the big picture goes. If you have a 1992 GTA that you think meets (or comes close to meeting) these criteria and might for a second consider parting with it, please post here with some details or PM me, whichever you prefer.
Even if you don't own one, if you see a '92 GTA in good shape for sale somewhere (locally, on the internet, eBay, cars.com, autotrader.com, etc., on some other F-body forum, ANYWHERE) let me know, PLEASE!
Thank you very much for your time.
Cheers!
