Hi Guys,

Looking to buy a Black exterior/light interior T/A or Firebird. Must have t tops and no rust. Would really like an 82 or 83 but open to 91. Also would like power package (windows, locks etc...). Cash in hand and will consider out of state.

 

I have a 91 Formula, black w/ tan interior, t-tops, LB9, factory 5 speed, factory N10 dual cat exhaust, 3.42 posi, 4 wheel disc brakes, CC, PW, PDL, Tilt, power mirrors, new valve seals, new clutch and u-joints, new fuel pump, new radiator, no leaks at all, doesnt burn a drop of oil. Its a 100% rust free AZ car. I use it as my daily driver. Runs very strong, passes emissions clean. 139,000 miles. Its very clean inside and out. No cracks in the dash, or rips in the seats. Are you set on black? I ask because I have a red WS6 that the clear is coming off of, so it needs paint. It's not the "been in the sun for way too long" kind of problem where the clear gets thin and is eaten through. It peels off in sheets. There was something wrong with that batch of clear, but I missed the recall window.

The car is a 1989 Trans Am with the WS6 package - "9 bolt," non C-clip axles, 3.23; Black-centered, GTA-style wheels. It's grey interior, needs a headliner, but the seats, etc., are in good shape. It's just over 100k miles. Unmodified, runs strong, 700R4. We've added an Eclipse stereo, Infinity drivers, & RF subs in the rear well run by a Hifonics VII Boltar. Also added a Code Alarm system with remote start. It was my girlfriend's car. Between the clear peeling and the rough ride, she opted for something smoother and more suited to our age.
