Hello everyone, I am looking for a 1986-1989 trans am. I am located in Howard County, MD. The color isn't a big deal, but I'd prefer black or red. Black ws6 wheels preferred, but not necessary. if it is a small project, I can deal with that, nothing too major though. T-Tops are a necessity. 305 or 350, doesn't matter, but needs to be a V8. Manual would be a plus. I'd prefer the "regular" trans am, but GTA's are fine too. Also, my preferred year would be either '87 or '88 as those are easier to find w/manual trannies. Will be able to travel out at least ~100 miles. Thank you.

Not bad. So from what I see, it needs new paint, interior restoration, and it has an engine problem. I'm not sure what a code 44 is, but from what I can remember, it's something about the o2 sensor. Is there anything else? Do the t tops leak?

 

I've fixed the code 44 it was a o2 sensor it needs a tune up I've fixed a lot since December the t tops do leak but only under pressure like when washing the car. Needs headliner and headrest, starter is going bad has a heat soak problem. Other then that its a decent car I'm not a fan of digital dash or the deluxe interior. I just put on 4 new sumitomo tires wagner thermoquiet rear brakes moog idler arm and all new sway bar links. Have new kyb shocks for the rear yet to be installed.
