hello all, new forum member here. I am looking to acquire a firebird as a fun weekend car/project car. the ideal vehicle should be in drivable condition, but minor to moderate issues that don't prevent it from being driven (i.e. inoperable A/C, fading paint, light rust, etc.) are acceptable - basically I don't mind a bit of a ratty car. Manual is preferred. I'm not really interested in a show car, just something I can tear up the backroads in with my friends on my days off. I don't have a garage at present so I won't be rebuilding an engine or anything of the sort any time soon, but I can easily do basic maintenance such as oil changes, battery service, etc. at home. I would prefer a bright red, yellow, or blue one, and I would prefer to be able to pick it up and drive it home. I am only considering vehicles with clean titles. my price range is about $4000 but I may be willing to budge a little on that, depending on the vehicle. I live in northwest PA, but am willing to travel a bit for a good deal.
