Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
Ya I got emailed tracking info this morning, but the package had already been delivered.
I only live about 2 - 2.5 hours from UMI, so the cheapest shipping option for me is still next day.
Ryan:
I want to thank you so much, I know your are extremely busy this time of year. It must be hard with all your customers wanting things right away. I just was under the impression that it wouldn't be more than a month.
I basically saved enough with this group purchase that my on car adjustable panhard bar was free. Thanks again

Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
~edit: if hard to read, sorry~
UMI Performance -First off. I want to say thank you, for the good crafsmanship.
2nd thing . kinda of bothers me is that not all the things that i ordered came. I ordered tq rm, tq arm bolts, sfc, on car adj pannhard bar,14oz lube, bolt in lca relocation brakets , single adj lca's lca botls
What i got was sfc one day then aweek or so went by today i got all but the, relocatoin brakets {lca's} and the tube of grease
im dissapointed that i was charged for the relocation brakets and grease and did not get em. the grease in on back order so thats understandable so i was refuned.
i understand that you had 35 orders in the gp and all and you also have full paying customers but it pissed me off after opening the box and not seeing what i neede/ordered
questions
1.where is my relocation brakets?
2.when would you guys get the lube in ?
3. what other type of grease would you recomend for these new parts
~side note~
the packing was amazing and took me soo long to get em out of all the prtection.
so some one at UMI PERFORMANCE please let me know where the rest of my order is ?and if its still in your shop mabe i can still get some grease.
thank you
shlomo

Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
The crossmember can be used with either a 700R4, T-5, or TH350 tranny. I'm kinda happy, because I may swap a T-5 into my car down the road and now I won't have to purchase a different crossmember. So I'm guessing that the extra mounting holes allows the multiple tranny options.
Ryan sent me a PM this morning.
Edit: I see what you mean now, I dunno? Hopefully Ryan will respond to this.
Edit #2: Just read the 4th gen directions included, that cross member only has 2 mounting holes on each side. I'm still guessing it has to do with the multiple tranny options.
Ryan sent me a PM this morning.
We have been sooo busy we have not had time to write installation instructions for the new 3rd gen torque arms. So the bolt kit that was sent is correct but I threw in instructions for our 4th gen torque arms. They are very similar so I am sure it will help, if not give us a call.

Shlomo,
I am aware you didn't receive your brackets, yet. I still have the order hear to ship them on Monday. Instead of holding your order any longer for the brackets to come in I figured I would just send everything we had for now, I think thats better then holding it and you not getting anything?
The brackets will be ready to ship on Monday, we won't have another grease shipment in until Wednesday. If you want I can wait until Wednesday and ship both for you? Just let me know. Thanks for the patiences!
Ryan
----------
Some of the older style bushings used a three hole design like this so we added it in to make it even more universal. If your bushing just uses a single bolt you will use the slot in the center. Also to help out, the slots closest to the rear are for a 700R4 and a T5, the slots closest to the front are for the TH350. We would like to soon have them available for a 6-speed conversion and TH400.
Hope that helps!

Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
Hey Ryan
I was not trying to make a big deal about any of this. Thank you for being understanding. I just was not sure where they were, the invoice said nothing about them, so i got abit worried.
If it would be possible to hold the shippment till the lube come that would work well for me.
Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part
~ hope this can be read well, with out any problems.
thanks again

Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
Ryan!!! problems!!!!
first off i havent gotten my torque arm yet,
second, and probably the most urgent and important, kris contacted me today and there is a problem with the crossmember, he told me the plate for mounting the trans is hitting the trans pan and i think he had to cut it off
.
what happening here? is it hitting because of a old wasted trans mount or is there a flaw in the design?
i will try to contact you tommorow and see whats up.

Re: UMI Performance Group Purchase- 15% Off!
Here is what I had to do to get the crossmember to fit in the car. That extension with the extra trany mounting location was hitting the tranny pan so I couldn't line up the holes on the frame until I cut it off.

Ryan again for the quality and craftmanship of your work, and for doing these group purchases with us.
