I haven't been on in a while, just wondering what GP's are going on right now. I got my UMI sfc's from a GP a while back.

My wifes '00 WS6 has UMI parts all over (except the driveshaft loop) and I am very happy with their products.

 

I don't mind the clean look either I just like stickers for my tool box and so people can see where I get parts from.

 

That's what I do too, put them on the tool box.

 

Got my UMI SFC's today. They do wrap them well! Will install them next week.

All I know it's almost been 8 weeks since I placed my order, now I did add some things, but still.

It was absolutely beautiful this weekend, would have been perfect to install my order along with the Koni Yellows and Pro Kit.

Maybe our orders are delayed because of the new TQ arms, he still hasn't added them to his web sight.

 

i shot ryan an e-mail a little while ago, last weekend i think, and he said he was working on my order, so im hoping to see it this comming week **fingers crossed**

it was a great weekend to work on the car, wish i had the parts, its supposed to get all cold and crappy around here later this week, so i guess i SOL again...

 

I still haven't received my adj. torque arm I ordered on Jan 21st. No big rush for me though cause I'm only taking my car out of storage in a month.

 

ordered on jan 23 and sub face connectors came just now at 12:31 march 12th and the rest of my order is supoz to come in 3-5 bissnessdays

Well today makes it 2 months since I placed my original order. I haven't heard anything from Ryan. I'm hoping my order will just show up without him sending me tracking info.

 

I got my sfc's today (ordered 1/28). Still waiting for UMI to ship out the lca's, phb, and reloc. brackets. BTW the sfc's look great and they were well worth the wait .

id like to know to, ive sent more than few emails in the past 2 weeks just trying to find out whats going on, ive got no answer

 

I got my adjustable torque arm.
Ordered 1/14, Shipped 3/22, Recieved 3/23

I think he probably made up all the SFC's first since most people ordered them. Then moved on to LCA's (or whatever was ordered in the next biggest quantity), then torque arms, etc etc etc.

Being involved in manufacturing my whole life, this is make take on why we have had to wait (on top of the fact that this is his busiest time of the year).
He was able to give us the discount because he was able to control his costs by building a large quantity of one part at a time. If he had to set up for each order it would take even longer because he would have had to set up for John Doe's SFC's, then set up for Bob Smith's torque arm, then take that set up down and set up again for somebody else's SFC's. He isn't a big manufacturing facility that has a seperate machine set up for each part. He has to use the same equipment for eveything. That makes switching from one part to the next time comsuming.

If you don't have any of his stuff yet, you won't be disappointed. His parts are so nice I actually feel guilty when I get them dirty while installing them.

Hang in there guys, you'll get your stuff and you WILL be happy with it.

We only have 7 orders left to ship, these orders are all larger orders and why they took longer. We will have all (7) of these orders shipped by middle of next week, a few shipping on Monday and Tuesday. Don't worry, you will get your stuff

I have no idea what happened, never received any tracking info, haven't received my items, haven't received a reply to the email I sent after the 23rd. I wonder what happened to the customer service, looks like the group purchase customers aren't as important as the full paying customers

I would be flaming mad if I hadn't gotten the discount.

 

only thing i can think of is, since you and I got the new torque arms, they were put off to last and were delayed a bit more. i was really looking forward to shipping confirmation today, but looks like i have to wait another week...

 

UMI, i know this is WAY past your deadline, however i just joined this site and am very interested in your subframe connectors. I have 2 IROC's an 89 and a 90. I want you subframe connectors on my cars as first installed upgrades and want to know if you can still honor that 15% off offer. If so, i will gather some money as soon as possible to have one purchased from you and another at a later date. Please let me know as well as any other potential buyers who have just joined or heard about this group buy. Thanks.

Philip- Everything but your torque arm is shipping on Monday. Your torque arm is out for powder coat now and will arrive shortly.

hey thanks! talk about perfect timing, my lowering springs are coming next week too, probably monday,tues gonna give me a lot of work to do, and is supposed to be a nice week!! and hopefully by the time i get that job squared away, the torque arm will show!

when is everyone eles's stuff being shipped out?

 

I ordered on 1/14/07 and got the 1st part of my order today. LCAs, panhard, LCA brackets.

The way he packs up the order is outstanding. It could fall off the truck and not get a scratch on it.

This picture is after I took it out of the box, and is was then wrapped in paper, then in bubble wrap and shrink wrap.

It was def a long wait, but as Ryan told, it is worth the wait. I saved about $130 on my order with this group purchase, so basicly I got the on car adj panhar bar for free

I will post pictures of the new Tunnel mount TQ arm when it arrives. Ryan left a note on my invoice that it would be 2 or 3 days behind. That's what is really getting me all giddy.

I really have to say to you Ryan and all the employees at UMI. I know your very busy this time of year. Any chance your gonna offer front A arms for us 3rd genners. I would much rather get it from you then the other guys that offer them, but I can't wait much longer.

 

Thats everything I'm still waiting for. I got my sfc's awhile ago, but haven't got a tracking number for the rest of my order yet. I'm not in any big rush to get them, and packing is great
