I got my 9 bolt cover today. Thanks to all who helped make this good GP work!

 

For those of you waiting on a 9 bolt cover like I am, I got an email from Shon, he said that He talked to TA on monday and they said they are still on back order but they hope to get them out soon. He will get them out to us as soon as he gets them.

 

I inquired last week also and received the same info. Still have received no UPS tracking number or any further updates. I've just now e-mailed them again for a status.

It looks as if the wait for the 9-bolt covers continues. I received the following e-mail yesterday:

"I wanted to update you with what I know as of today, I called TAP today 7 EST and Dave said it would be another 2wks before they will be shipped. I do apologize for the wait and inconvenience, I was told when placing the order it would only be a week or so but as we know now that is not the case.

Please accept my apology for the delay and as soon as they get here they will go out to you.

Well it's been more than 3 weeks since TAP told Shon that they would be another 2 weeks before they got shipped. I haven't heard from Shon to see if he got the rest of them yet, so I'm gonna e-mail him now. I'll share any information I get with the rest of you.

 

Can I still get in on this deal? I need a 10bolt 8.5"

Well here's the update I promised. Shon said they just arrived today, and he was gonna do his best to get them all shipped today or tomorrow. I already have my tracking number, so I hope that he got everyone's covers shipped. If not, I'd imagine the rest of you should be getting your tracking numbers e-mailed to you tomorrow. Big THANKS to Shon @ herronperformance.com for putting this all together and making it happen. I'm glad that TAP didn't pull anything like AS&M has pulled on the big tube runners GP, even though our rear end covers were supposed to be in stock and some of us got delayed... maybe it was just all us 9-bolt guys, who knows.

I suggest you contact Shon @ shon@herronperformance.com and see if he has any interest in doing another GP. I think he's done a few of them, so you should be able to get in on another deal maybe in a few months. Good luck

 

I received two e-mails with UPS tracking numbers today. I'm surprised they didn't strap the two boxes together to save on S&H. Regardless, I'm glad the covers are FINALLY on their way.

Shon said he can't post to TGO right now for some reason, but he ordered a few extra when he found out they were backordered, knowing that he'd be able to sell them eventually. If anyone is interested in a rearend cover go ahead and e-mail him. I dunno how many he has of which covers, so just check with him. shon@herronperformance.com

I would like to get one of these for my 9 bolt I contacted Vendor and said would place another order if 10 people would purchase $165.00 with stud kit.
I beleive he would handle it the same way we send him the money and when he gets 10 he will place the order.

I just need 10 orders, it does not have to be 10 of the 9bolt covers, it can be for the 10bolt covers as well, just need 10 total.

I have been asked about delivery time. Once the GP is closed (4/26), then I will order from TAP and they will ship to me (4 days) and then I will send them out to paid customers. I would expect everyone having their covers early May assuming TAP has all the covers in stock. (if you read the previous posts, the last time the 9bolt covers were not in stock and that delay'd shipment).

$165 shipped for the cover and stud kit is a SWEET DEAL, this would normally cost you over $200+shipping, that's a 21% discount.

Starting a new thread might be good if you want to do that. Or people can just PP me the $165 for each cover and idicated if they want a 10 or 9 bolt cover, and if you want another cover they offer you can contact me for special pricing, like the Dana 60 cover, they are the same price but some of the larger covers are slightly more.

1 - Are these available in different finishes, if so what are they?
