I had klearz do those for me years ago ... glad someone picked up on it and use the work we did back then ... my 1989 TTA in the picture ... quality of lenses is very good and I'm very happy with them and been on my TTA since 2010.

What I also asked him to do for me at the time was the lens for the 3rd brake light in the rear wrap around spoiler; I even bought him one and sent to him however at the time there were no interest getting them done (more than a couple for me and I was going for slightly smoked ones rather than the stock red lens) ... so if interest I would not mind you adding this to the group buy if possible ... I would be in for at least 2 ...

Hey buddy from klearz emailed me stating that he needs a good set of oem front markers to make molds. Then hecould complete the order..
Im going to ship them out tmrw.

 

Yep that's what I did for the rears back in 2010 ... only way he can do the molds needed ... he will take just the lens off (rest will be ruined) then clean them up and smooth out any rough areas before making the molds.

I asked Jason about the 3rd Brake light as well as used in the spoiler 85-90 ... so if any of you guys are interested in that please drop him a line and ask that way we can get that done as well depending on the quantity he needs to get that project started ... I'm getting 2 for mine. Oh and I hope he still got the lens I sent him 3 years ago.

He's still to make those as at the time he did not see a business opportunity due to the lack of interest on the rear side marker lights ... so we need to show him some interest so he starts looking at making them as well and can give us a cost before we decide if we are in or not ...

If you are interested please email Jason at Klearz (info@klearz.com) do get the ball rolling .. at a minimum we can get him to give us a price so we can post this and see what the interest will be and he can do what he's doing with the front side marker lights.

Just found this thread. It still says on the site that front lenses and not in production yet. Is that true, or are they available now?

 

Are the side markers on al the Firebirds the same ?
Or are the '82-'84 different?

i have a '82 Firebird TA and want to know if they will fit.

 

Both front and rear side markers are the same 82-92 (on the firebird; Camaro only have front side markers/turn signals again same on 82-92)

 

The post further up the thread said we're still two people short of production.
I don't think that has changed yet :/

I commited my bucks to a set of front and rear smoked markers, but I won't be getting anything out of it until two more guys also commit.

Mentioned that klearz is going to be making a third brake light lens too
Not sure about your guys' orders but mine is finished.

The third brake light lens he's making for me and got a photo of the clear version from him yesterday and he's now doing me a lightly smoked one as well before shipping them ... I do think the lightly smoked one will look better but getting both just in case lol. So molds are done if you guys want to ask him to make you the third brake light lens as well ... note you will need to paint the black part yourself if you want it to look like the stock lens.

Klearz got the Firebird 3rd brake light lens done (spoiler mounted) ... looks great and will be an easy install just need to paint the black area on there ...

Not received mine yet but here's a picture he sent me of the clear, lightly smoked and smoked versions but as with anything they do they can do any color pretty much.

Well the 3rd brake light lens can be ordered; I would just contact Klearz (Jason) directly for the fender light lenses ... if he made them already for one or two people he got photos of them he can share with you.

 

Sent him an eMail. Again.

 

Ok, for now I'm considering this whole thing a rip-off.
- Absolutely no reply from klearz.com to any of my emails regarding the side markers
- Someone claiming to have received stuff and repeatedly postponing pics
- No updates on their website

I reply to all emails recieved as each is a potential sale. It wouldn't make sense to just ignore an email as suggested. Just to verify, Yes the front and rear sidemarkers are in fact in production and available, along with the third brake lens. I haven't had time to add the third brake light or frot side markers to the website yet. I will be adding more product for other cars later in the week at which point I will update he Pontiac section with the new product.

As mentioned, these are lenses ONLY. For the side markers, you will have to remove your OEM lenses from the housings, and then place the new markers on them.

We had contact once. That was between June and Juli and I inquired about the third brake light lens and you replied to that.

Before that, in May, I ordered front and rear markers via your website and paid for them via PayPal in two transactions of $69 USD each.

And that is the last I heard from you.

If you did in fact not receive any further eMails from my account, they may possibly have wandered into some junk filter for some reason.

I hope you can understand how I came to the conclusion of my previous post.
So please help us out by giving us some facts. How many Firebird lenses have you already done in this regard and how long do you estimate will it take to get around to shipping mine or all of ours?

If you can't post pics then don't say you will. What you do for a living is of no matter. Pretty simple. You have had time to post all over this board in the month and a half since you said you would post pics so I think his concerns were valid.

 

Where i live for the course of the project obviously matters.
Having access to where the marker lights have been may have been prohibiting me from taking photos and posting them when i was home. Last time i checked you cant post photos when you do not have them, also to make posts on threads only requires an internet connection which is easily accessible.



There you are boys. Stop acting like high school kids, "no photo no proof ", there are honest people in this world.

 

Klearz. I also emailed you at info@klearz.com a couple months ago to see if you had enough orders to go into production but never heard from you. That is why I was curious if they were really in production or not.

I believe you would have become suspicious yourself if you pay for something in advance MONTHS ago, then someone starts claiming to have received his parts and a month later you still haven't received yours and neither has anyone else.
Plus, when you contact the manufacturer and repeatedly receive no response.
