can you rotate 91 gta rim/tires?
hey guys, I was checking out my rims-and noticed that the front and back rims look different-anyone know what I'm talking about-the front ones seem to be wider where the gold honeycomb part of the rim meets the silver part-
so my question is, can I rotate them or not?
and one more thing-whats the widest tire I can put on that rim-I currently have 245/50/16's all around and was wondering if I can put 275/50/16 in the rear-would that fit?
thanks

Don't let someone at the tire store talk you into not rotating your tires because of your rims. Your rims need to stay in place, but the tire store will need to dismount/mount re-balance your tires into the appropriate positions.

Actually with 245's and the rears mounted on the front, the wheel will rub the tie rod. It makes a nice growling noise and will knock off any wheel weights, and will put a nice groove in the clear coat.
This is why I take the tire shop only my wheels, not my car. Not to mention that my cars sit too low to drive onto their lift equipment. And that they like to tighten the lugs with impact wrenches.
