Sad, Sad Story
I was at my body shop today looking at a pink duster, saying how ugly the pink was, Then I found out its a Pink Panther, Came pink from the factory, 340, 4 on the floor. Only 7 or 8 were EVER made.
BUT... I guess it was beat to hell or re-painted or something and the owner didnt know till the suspension/engine were done and he went to pull the carpet to do the roll cage. Could you picture hacking such a rare car up like this. I mean its a nice drag car, but I'd rather see it ALL original, hes leaving the cage in and putting the original interior in, not sure if his enigne is original block or not, so mostly its only the engine and suspension that isnt original but still,,,,woudldnt you kill yourself if that happened to you?
Any thirdgen stories like this to share?

Yes Panther Pink is one freakin' rare color for old Mopars, I still hate it though . If I was gonna get a rare color, I'd get Sublime or Deep Burnt Orange Metallic, oh, wait, already got the orange . I agree, smack that guy good, if not, he might go cuttin' up a 71' Hemicuda convertible or something.
